I have attached the Membership evening details. You have ample notice to arrange and bring  prospective members to this evening. More details will be given once we have the details of the speaker and we finalise the programme.

Please forward this flyer to your connections, people who want to get involved in our club.

Special Request Please:

Members you all know someone that will be suitable to share with you the satisfaction and fun you have belonging to Rotary and the successes and contacts that go along with it.
We need to have new members to grow our club and this is the opportunity for you to invite that person you thought would be a possible member but never got around to.

The expectation is that we will have 100% attendance from our members at this Membership evening to make it a success with a minimum of 1 guest per member please plus your spouse or partner.

How to Find new members

The top two reasons people join Rotary are to meet new people and to get involved in their communities. Many of the non-Rotarians you know are looking for the same things. Invite them to help with a service project, attend a networking night, or participate in a club gathering so they can see for themselves how Rotary connects leaders to make positive change.

Consider these potential candidates for membership:
  • Friends and family members
  • Business and professional acquaintances
  • Younger community leaders who are already connected to Rotary through Rotaract, RYLA, peace fellowships, Youth Exchange, and other programs
These potential members are all around you — they might be Rotary alumni who moved to your area or someone who heard about Rotary in the news or loves our Fundraising Events.

BENEFITS OF ROTARY MEMBERSHIP

Explain the benefits of membership to the prospective members: including opportunities to:
  • Make a difference in the lives of others
  • Develop skills that can easily be applied to a career, like public speaking, project management, and event planning
  • Network with other professionals
  • Build lifelong friendships
  • Make international connections
